Take a Tour

The Chocolate House is not really a house nor is it made of chocolate. It is a part of the oldest commercial building in Somerset, built in 1326. Along with The Medieval Gallery and Myrtle’s Cottage, the Chocolate House was the King George, a coaching inn, for 400 years. A visit to the Chocolate House in Dunster is a delicious stop on your visit to Medieval Dunster.

“Ran into this little spot after a hot day walking around the castle. Once we saw the big ice cream selection we were sucked right in. The lady who served was the sweetest and the ice cream was amazing! I'm sure my baby boy was happy with his first ice cream ever:)”
